My happiness is dependent upon whatever. This whole journal kind of pulls you out of that to put you in the right relation with yourself to realize that in order for there to be change there needs to be self-accountability. In order for there to be change, you need to be able to be proactive and spot an issue when you're in the moment so you can take a new action.”

Like literally nothing else besides that, because we already know what works and now we just want to pour fire and fuel on that over and over. So that would be the first thing I would look at.”

Ask to move to voice notes so you can really show your personality. They'll feel who you are better this way.

I'm the authority. I can help you, and I want to help you."

You better look at me in five years time or ten years time being like, 'holy smokes, you were good then but wow you are amazing now.' So it's a growth journey. It’s about putting one foot in front of the other. In today’s social media, we look at people’s highlight reels and we think, 'oh wow that must have happened overnight.' The fact of the matter is that anything worth value takes time; it takes years; it takes decades.”

One of the most important parts of making sales is having conversations and pitching ourselves and our products to potential clients, so it’s necessary to make sure that our words and phrases are reflecting us in an ideal light. There are many common phrases that you might use right now in your sales calls that I would love for you to absolutely quit saying immediately if you want to grow your sales.

“What you say really allows the other person to hear you from a different way and we want you to make sure that you’re always showing up as an expert, we want to make sure you’re always showing up as an authority, and we want to makes sure that you’re always showing up as someone who is, I don’t want to say higher than them, but definitely not coming down to chase anybody. A lot of the time the words in which we use in our sales conversations, actually have us chasing and in a needy energy, and we absolutely want to try and shift that right away.”

“We want to make sure that we’re bringing in the right people to the sales funnel, and at the top of the sales funnel is leads. No matter where you are in your business, if you’ve never sold a client or you are an eight figure business, leads are still the most important thing you need in your business at all times. Then in the center, there is this place that is nurturing and right now what is happening is you are nurturing people. If you're nurturing people in this circle, but they aren’t the right people, we’re actually wasting time, energy, money, resources, and all these other things, because after nurture comes the buy. If the people in the nurture funnel are not the right people, they are never going to come down to buy.”
