Welcome back, babes, to the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today's episode tackles a topic every business owner encounters: dealing with non-paying clients. In this insightful and practical episode, we’re diving into strategies to handle collections without losing focus on your core business. Learn how to set boundaries, delegate effectively, and maintain professionalism while protecting your energy and financial health.
Topics Covered:
Why chasing payments can drain your time, energy, and business resources
The importance of separating your role as a business owner from that of a collector
How to delegate financial conversations, even if you’re a solopreneur
Tips for creating “mock team” emails to establish boundaries and streamline collections
The power of letting go of small amounts and focusing on generating new revenue instead
Setting clear consequences for non-payment to protect your business relationships

What that question was, is how quickly can you go make that money up somewhere else? So if you're chasing $30, or $300, or $3,000, think about all the time and energy and resources and team and bandwidth that you're spending chasing all of this. When can you just go out and sell something else? Could you craft an offer on your Instagram stories? Could you put out a low-ticket offer? Could you launch a high-ticket offer? And could you make up that money quickly? – Jillian

Welcome back, babes, to the Scale Your Sales Podcast! Today's episode dives deep into a simple yet powerful shift in sales language that could change the trajectory of your business. We’re unpacking the psychology of word choice, specifically the impact of replacing “if” with “when” in your conversations. Learn how certainty in communication boosts client confidence, aligns with your goals, and ultimately drives more sales.
Topics Covered:
Why the language you use in sales matters
How the word "if" introduces doubt and weakens your messaging
The power of replacing "if" with "when" to build trust and certainty
Practical tips for reprogramming your sales language
Leveraging small mindset shifts to create big changes in your business growth
“Every single time you use the word "if," there's actually something psychologically that's happening to your clients that's putting doubt in their mind. Like, if I really want to change my sales, do I really want to change my sales? If you want a better marriage, do I want to change my marriage? And this is so powerful. So, what I encourage you to do instead is to think about ways in which you can be more certain.” -Jillian

What’s up Babes! Welcome to another podcast episode of Scale Your Sales Podcast, I'm so excited to have my good friend Luvyna Mantle here today. She is a systems and automation expert who specializes in helping businesses streamline their processes using Go High Level, an all-in-one CRM platform. Today, we're diving deep into the world of automation and how it can transform your business.
Topics we cover:
The importance of automating foundational business tasks.
The benefits of using Go High Level to consolidate business tools and save money.
How to attract high-paying clients even when starting out.
The significant impact of automating appointment reminders on show-up rates.
The necessity of automating onboarding processes to save time and increase efficiency.
The role of text marketing in reaching and engaging customers.
Personal anecdotes about balancing work and family life through automation.
The differences between a Virtual Assistant (VA), Online Business Manager (OBM), and a Systems Expert.
Real-life examples of how automation can streamline sales processes and business operations.
Tips on identifying gaps in business processes and effectively automating them.
“It's okay to automate foundational things like appointment reminders and some of these boring things, but when it comes to your sales, lead generation, onboarding, and nurturing, we're always taught to keep it personal. We want to keep it personal because that's how you can burn your leads. Let's be real, that's how you can hurt your leads. However, there are a lot of things you can automate while still keeping it personalized. You can add manual steps; maybe you're not automating the entire process but automating chunks of it to make it faster and easier on you. A lot of times, what that does is allow you to track more easily. You can track what leads you have coming in and how warm or cold they are, speeding up the process a lot of the time.” - Luvyna Mantle

Once you get SEO on your website, things rock and roll for you in the background 24/7. You can get leads every time of day, and so it's something that I always say is really important to set up your business with. But also, knowing finances and stuff like that, a lot of people put their money toward social media, building an email list, all very valid and very important. But yeah, I mean, SEO is just such a powerful organic tool that I think people get distracted or they don't understand it, so they don't know why it's going to be helpful for them. But that's where I like to educate people, because it's really not that scary. – Lindsay May

Jillian Murphy: Sales & Business Mentor

I am massively obsessed with two things: SALES and COMMUNITY!

I've had endless conversations with online entrepreneurs who are struggling when it comes to sales. They love what they have to offer, dreaming big isn't a problem, but walking it out in their real lives isn't really happening. They're feeling blocked in their success by time, mindset, confusion, and skillset. I want to help others win at sales because it doesn't have to be complicated; in fact, sales are ACTUALLY REALLY SIMPLE and I want others to win without being sales-y or fearful!

BUT…

Let’s have some REAL TALK first. It isn't completely your fault. Your lack of the right coach, the right framework, and the right community is costing you LOTS of money and wasted time.

Aren’t you tired of just piecing it all together (or as I like to say “throwing spaghetti at the wall”) and TRYING to do more, to get more, and yet it never feels like enough.

Tune into the Sales & Social Podcast for all you need to know to fall in love with sales & succeed!
